Dear Colleague,
Founded in 2003, the Society for Existential and Phenomenological Theory and Culture (EPTC) is a Canadian-based international academic society that aims to promote rigorous scholarship drawn from the traditions of existentialism and phenomenology, broadly construed. In addition to theoretical work on core philosophical issues and figures, we are especially interested in providing a forum for showcasing practical and applied research, as well as cross- and interdisciplinary developments of existential and phenomenological themes.
Our 2020 meeting will be held in the first week of June at Western University in London, in conjunction with the annual Congress of the Canadian Federation for the Social Sciences and Humanities.Our current call for papers can be found on our website, and we welcome submissions from all interested authors. The deadline for submissions is 6 January 2020.We encourage you to share this email with scholars who have similar research interests. Further inquiries can be directed to us at eptc.tcep@gmail.com.

Chère collègue, cher collègue,Fondée en 2003, Théorie et culture existentialistes et phénoménologiques (TCEP) est une société académique canadienne d’envergure internationale dont la mission est de promouvoir la recherche inspirée, au sens large, des traditions existentialiste ou phénoménologique. En plus de s’intéresser aux travaux théoriques portant sur des sujets et personnalités du monde philosophique, la TCEP offre une vitrine aux travaux de recherche pratique ou appliquée ainsi qu’à la recherche multi- ou interdisciplinaire portant sur des thématiques existentialiste ou phénoménologique. Notre réunion pour 2020 aura lieu la première semaine de juin à l’Université Western à London, conjointement avec le Congrès de la Fédération des sciences humaines.
Notre appel à contributions se retrouve sur notre site web et nous acceptons toutes les soumissions d’auteurs intéressés à participer. La date limite pour les soumissions est le 6 janvier 2020.Nous vous encourageons à envoyer ce courriel à tous vos collègues universitaires dont la recherche porte sur ces sujets.
