25th Annual Conference, Centre for Comparative Literature (University of Toronto): Survival/La survie
Dear colleagues and friends,
We are pleased to announce the 25th annual graduate conference to be held at the Centre for Comparative Literature in the University of Toronto. Its theme will be Survival. The conference will take place from March 12 to March 15, 2015. Our keynote speakers are Professor Christopher Fynsk (University of Aberdeen) and Professor Elizabeth Rottenberg (DePaul University). The Centre’s own Eric Cazdyn will be giving the Linda Hutcheon and J. Edward Chamberlin lecture.
We invite you to consider the idea of survival in literary, theoretical, and interdisciplinary contexts. We welcome proposals of no more than 250 words for panels/roundtables as well as individual talks. Our submissions deadline is October 1. For more info, see our website at conference.complit.utoronto.ca/Survival.
Please circulate this announcement and the attached CFP to your colleagues at other departments/institutions and to any other mailing lists of relevance. We look forward to your participation in the event!
Yours,
Natasha Hay, Baharak Beizaei, Fan Wu, Irina Sadovina, and Keegan Goodman
