Worlds of Libraries: Metafictional Works by Arlt, Borges, Bermani, and De Santis

Abstract

Contemporary Latin American literature currently treats metapoetical issues focusing on the role of the reader, the book and literature. This paper examines scenes that occur inside libraries and archives and check the political, philosophic and semiotic roles of books in the contemporary age.
